GOODBAGS
What are GOODBAGS?
GOODBAGS are given to survivors at the time of rescue. Many identified victims, whether they are rescued by law enforcement or have escaped their trafficker, have little or no personal belongings. The GOODBAGS serve as a stepping stone to give survivors a sense of autonomy by having new items to call their own. They contain new essential personal care items such as underwear, socks, a clean outfit, toothbrush and toothpaste, and soap. These items provide basic comforts that help begin the process of feeling cared for and comforted.
