Marirose is a licensed clinical therapist and the founder of the RESILIENCY GROUP LLC located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. She began her practice after graduating at the top of her class as a member of the International Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society from The Johns Hopkins University. She obtained a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is also Harvard Medical School certified in Complex Psychological Trauma and Recovery.

As a survivor, she knows firsthand the lasting effects of the trauma of sexual exploitation and because of this, she’s dedicated to helping others find peace, comfort, and resilience.
